There are so many wonderful aspects of this resturant. It is by far my favorite veg resturant ever. I wish I could take this place back home with me! Let's start with the food. My boyfriend and I stopped by when they were closed because we saw them inside and the sign on the door said vegan ice cream. They served us the most delicious, rich, and flavorful vegan ice cream I have ever had even when closed! It was so clean tasting and it was made with 100% all natural ingredients. They mint chocolate chip was my favorite but the mocha, butterscotch, and chocolate were also phenomenal. The next day we came back and had the veggie burger, pizza, and Mediterranean platter. I am not exaggerating when I say that when we started eating this food we immediately felt rejuvenated and nourished after eating the usual Costa Rican diet for the past week. Every single bite was so flavorful, colorful, and finely crafted. We could not believe how beautifully the food was presented to us and how absolutely delicious it tasted. We started with the Mediterranean platter which is hummus, toasted whole wheat pitas, falafel, and tahini sauce. The pita was perfectly toasted and everything was so fresh and bursting with flavor. Next came the veggie burger which they so kindly cut in half for us to split. It was easily the best veggie burger I have ever had in my life. It was so full of vegetables and the homemade dressings that Mirela makes her self were to die for. It also came with these delicious freshly made pickles. I was so full at this point because the food is so satisfying and delicious, but next came the pizza. Is was so big and beautiful with homemade vegan coconut, cashew cheese, tons of veggies and a hearty wheat crust. Oh my god it melts in your mouth. We also had a carrot beat juice that was so nourishing and really hit the spot. The muffins we took to go were perfect too! Then the people and the restaurant itself is just beautiful. The owners are so kind and giving. We talked with them forever about nutrition and health. They are not in this business for the money, but because they truly want to educate people about healthful eating. They are simply angelic. They vibes of the resturant are also fantastic with plants everywhere. They even sell some health foods! I truly cannot rave about this place enough. It was a saving grace in for us on Costa Rica where most of the food is fried in butter and is very unhealthy. We love this place so much and will be back!!
