Was here on a past trip to Taiwan, and here's my Phillipe Paris Lounge restaurant review for HappyCow. This restaurant is housed in a fancy looking building just out front the Taichung Science Museum. Fine dining atmosphere, white tablecloth and all. Attentive service. Food is brought out slowly course by course. We had opted for the all-you-can-eat salad bar with our set meal (it's more expensive this way but we didn't know until we had already started eating -- cheaper set meal price if you choose to have ONE salad plate instead of all-you-can-eat). The salad bar is vegan friendly and features a few kinds of sprouts plus lettuce, bread, and fruit. Many regular menu items contain dairy since this is French cooking, so vegans be sure to ask. They were able to accommodate our vegan requests and suggest things we could eat. Expensive but an interesting experience if you don't mind splurging on food.
