- Tijuana's First Sit Down Vegan Restaurant!
Tijuana has seen a number of vegan places to eat opening up the past couple years including kiosks and bike food delivery places, but Tury, the owner, claims this restaurant to be the first sit-down vegan restaurant to come to Tijuana. Tury is very well-informed about the benefits of veganism, as he continues to study nutrition. The food is very tasty, and he seems to use lemon in his dishes to give many of his dishes tang while cutting back on the amount of salt he has to use. I ordered a combo bowl, and it was the best dish I have had in Tijuana, and I have been eating in this city for years. Even though I was full, the chilaquiles looked too great to pass up, so I ordered those as well. His dishes are well-spiced, very tasty, and certainly not greasy like quite a bit of food I have had in Tijuana. Congratulations to Tuly in the opening of his restaurant. Went here again for breakfast. The vegan pancakes are great! Updated from previous review on Thursday December 03, 2015 Updated from previous review on Wednesday December 09, 2015
