- Quality food.
The Plant is one of the stalls in a food theatre (many small stalls that all serve a few different dishes), the concept of the theatre seems to be "quality fast-food". The other stalls are not vegan or even vegetarian. The Plant had three different main dishes and some cold salads and dressings on the menu. We had burgers that were not on the regular menu but "chef's recommendation", and also tasted the Piston Peas oven panncake. Both dishes were excellent, also the side sallads and everything was very good, interesting tastes. We had two children with us, a 5-yo that is not too picky - liked everything - and a 12-yo suspicious one who didn't want to taste the burger as it sounded weird with a bean burger and mushroom, but who liked the panncake, pesto and most of the sallads. Which is a lot to say! I must confess I didn't expect much from the burger myself, as I'm not so much a friend of healthy vegan food, beans and peas, as I love the seitan and other look-alike-meat dishes. But the burger was just delicious. Service was friendly and quick, too. Much thanks to the cook who's mother is from Rauma.
