Subrosa is a wonderful place to eat out in Kiel. As a tourist it was nice to enter a different part of Kiel, that has a more relaxed atmosphere, away from the shopping malls. The place looked quite punk-ish when we checked it out early in the day, but when we came in the evening it filled up with all kinds of people, no mohawcs or piercings to be seen anywhere... The service was pleasant and everything looked clean and inviting. The food whas very good. The spinach- tofu- rice bratlinge (with the best vegan aioli we have ever tasted) is recommended. The vegan pizza (named generalstreik!) didn't have vegan cheese on it, but a cheese like sauce. It vas still good, and well seasoned. Updated from previous review on Thursday September 04, 2014
