Saw this on happycow and was tickled that this is Moby's LA restaurant. Went for lunch with my friend today and really enjoyed the food. The space is cozy, warm, and simple with natural light coming in through glass walls/windows. The servers were polite, quick, and gentle. Lunch menu was clearly defined with choice of starters, salads, sandwiches on one side and drinks on the other side. For appetizer we shared the potatoes appetizer with a savory red pepper dip and the sweet-carmelized brussel sprouts. Both delicious. We then each got a sandwich - the grilled cheese with tomato soup and the faux sandwich on baguette with crispy sunchoke chips. Both had distinct and strong flavors. I especially enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwich and the sunchoke chips. For dessert, we shared a smoothie and a warm berry crumble with ice cream on top. Yum. Prices and portions were fair. Would like to return to try more!
