La Verde is a very quaint casual cafe style restaurant. They serve sandwiches, desserts, and they have a soup and quiche of the day. They also have sangria and beer. The decor is very cute and the food was great, although the portions were small. If you order anything without a price ask the price as we were a bit surprised to see the sangria we ordered was 20 soles each. The "La Verde" was delicious and definitely hit the spot, while the Mediterranean plate had delicious hummus but again the portion was quite small. We had a pineapple coconut cake for dessert that was delicious. All in all I would definitely recommend La Verde although it would probably be better for lunch. Staff speaks English!
