I found it difficult to find good Vegan/Veg food in Málaga, but El Karmem was delicious! I had the 3 Tapas (which also came with bread and a small desert, so let's call it 5 Tapas. I've had hummus in 4 different continents, but the hummus here might have been the best yet. The only con about this place was that it is a bit expensive for what you get. That being said, the delicious food and wonderful atmosphere more than made up for it. There is a nice, down to earth vibe that is created by the owner (who is also the sole cook, waitress and cleaner). Although she was busy, she still made a point of asking me about my travels and sharing about some of her own. Even though she speaks very good English, she let me practice my (less than par) Spanish and we had some good conversation. She works 7 days a week all by herself just to keep this place afloat, so if you're looking for some good vegan food in Málaga this is the place to go!
