- One of our favourite memories of the Camino
Found Casa Alongos on Happy Cow when we arrived in Melide. Our expectations weren't high but we ended up having delicious food and an amazing time. The owner was unbelievably friendly, warm and welcoming with a fantastic sense of humour. She joined us for a while and gave us lemon liqueur at the end of our meal. The evening ended up being one of our favourite memories of the Camino de Santiago. I don't remember what we ate but just let them know you are vegan and they will be able to let you know what you can have. Overall, a fantastic experience.
