• Best Veggie in Brighton!

This is my third visit and I will keep coming back again and again. The menu is constantly fresh and changing with lots of new and interesting options to choose from. The latest menu is fantastic. Good classic dishes with a modern and funky twist. I went for the veggie cottage pie. Sounds quite tame on the surface, but the combination of interesting veggies and pulses was like nothing else Ive ever had. Certainly puts Linda McCartney to shame! Even after such a big hearty portion I decided I had to have one of their home made desserts. The chilli chocolate cake is definately one to try. The atmosphere is great too. Laid back, chilled out and so friendly. The staff are great and there is a real buzz about the place. I have to dissagree with the previous message as my experience has been great - I will come back to the Kau again and again. Not just your average veggie food - highly reccomended!
