  • a wonderful experience

We were recently in England and we were near Brighton, so I always check my happycow for vegan food. This restaurant got rave reviews, so we drove 1 hour to get there, we were NOT disappointed. We started off with the wasabi cashews and a basket of bread. The cashews were something I have never experienced before the flavor was explosive ,I also enjoyed the bread and olive oil/balsamic because in North America all breads contain whey powder, so I avoid them. Next we had a smoked sakuri soba salad that had so many tastes it is hard to describe how wonderful it was. For the main course my husband had the indi house curry . It does contain cheese so I could not taste it, but he said it was amazing. I had the rosti , I took a picture of this dish as it was so colorful every mouthful was an explosion of tastes.Desert looked good but we were too full. There is also a prix fix menu which the people next to us had and they were just oohing and ahing ! they were not even vegetarians but come to this restaurant for a treat. www.terreaterre.co.uk The menu is clearly marked vegan, gluten free or vegetarian and most vegetarian dishes can be made vegan.
