Was looking forward to the modified vegetarian burger described in this listing. The menu described it in similar terms and including "contains eggs" at the end. I clarified with the waitress whether this simply referred to the mayonnaise which could be left off and she advised that there was also egg in the burger which could not be left off. So scratch the vegetarian burger for vegans! The risotto also described as vegetarian could not be veganised either as it is pre-prepared with milk & butter. So I had French fries and ketchup for my lunch. When our meals were served, out came my French fries and the two meals my companions had chosen ... and a vegetarian burger. Having been through all the vegan questions she had left it on the docket! And attempted to say that my two companions had ordered three meals. Mercifully we didn't have to push the point very hard to have it left off the bill. So while this establishment is lacto-ovo vegetarian friendly, it has little to offer vegans as suggested by its listing on Happy Cow.
