• There's a rat in me kitchen!!

After reading all these great reviews I couldn't wait to try the food here. I ordered curry with roti, dhal and a mint dip thing, as well as a mango smoothie. I sat at one of the tables outside, which is almost inside as the place is pretty small. The curry was mushy and lukewarm as was the dhal. I had asked to wash my hands before eating and the waitress led me to the small kitchen and I saw that the roti was from a packet and not even made fresh on the premises. So anyway I sat back down to eat and soon had company for dinner. A big dirty rat just sitting staring at me!! OK I thought, it's just a rat. Keep calm and it will soon get bored and go away. 2 mins later something else scurried loudly across the straw roof. Not sure what it was. Could have been the rat's other half. Waitress shrugged her shoulders and said sorry. I paid the bill and left. Don't think I will go back. The smoothie was nice though. NB. ...I wanted to rate this as 0 but won't seem to let me.....
