I can recommend this place a 100%. The food I tried was super delicious. The staff was very nice. And the prices are moderate. The space is very open in the front of the restaurant with high ceilings, huge windows and large wooden tables. There are a couple more places in teh back were you get more of a cosy and darkish feel. You can even sit outside if you like since its located towards an open space - like a mikro park - a green eye in Essens rather grey inner city. I tried some of everything that looked appealing to me. So I had my platter full of little bits and nibbles, which was a good way to try myself through the menu. There was only one thing that wasn't to my taste, but the rest was all like "gimme more of that". I also had a huge piece of chocolate cherry cake as a desert and apart from filling me up after my satisfying dinner it was really good. Fluffy, moist, chocolatey, sweet yummyness. A big yes to Sattgrün (> lush green, while satt also means full)
