- High energy, happy place to shop
This is such a good place to shop and also stop and talk to friends. A wide selection of bulk items, pastas, oils, whole grain foods, etc, as well as vegan items in the deli and hot food bar. Classes on healthy and international cuisine. Community projects that benefit non-profits doing good work for this region. It isn't your father's grocery store from the previous generation. It's much more interesting, comprehensive and substantive than that. Where else can you find black truffle oil, ghee, and several varieties of seaweed in the same aisle? Also, the management is responsive to member/owner needs and there are generous, continuing discounts in exchange for member/owner volunteer work.
