  • Veggie Friendly in a nice part of town

I came to Freshii two times while I was in Pereira. The first time I had the Ninja salad and while the salad was good, it was very dry. The second time I came here I got the teriyaki bowl and it was also very dry. On the Ninja salad they forgot the dressing and I had to go back to the counter and ask for it. They gave me a tiny container with good tasting dressing. They have a special every day from Monday through Friday that costs 9850 pesos without a drink. Those specials are reasonably priced; other things on the menu seem overpriced considering we are in Colombia. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and you have a choice of adding protein for an additional cost. Tofu, ,chicken, beef, shrimp or quinoa can be added. This food is above average except for the dryness of the meal. Twice was probably enough for me but if you are near this upscale neighborhood in Pereira then you can drop by. It's a good place to go if you are traveling with someone who is not vegetarian. The other good choice would be Manimez in the center as they have a fish option for non vegetarians. Easy to get here using public transit: walk to Calle 14 and take bus route 2. It drops you off right in front of Parque Arboleda shopping center, and Freshii faces the street with tables both inside and out. Then just take bus route 2 back up to the center when you're done.
