revisited this place after nearly a year - it's much, much improved in terms of layout as well as variety and replenishment of food. besides seven or so main dishes, there's vermicelli, rice, soup, dessert, porridge and side dishes, plus extras like cold cucumber, dumplings, radish cake and beetroot cake (surprisingly good!). staff and diners were friendly, and it felt like having a meal at a relative's home. at hkd50 for a home-cooked buffet lunch (hkd68 for dinner), it's a hidden gem on hk island.
