  • amazing concept, well executed

My company stocks it's freezer with Amy's products to keep employees healthily fed, and we have a lot of Amy's choices. I was afraid that the Drive Thru would serve the same items defrosted and ready to eat. I'm happy to report that it's not the case (for the most part). The burger and pizza had resemblance to the frozen variety but the drive thru versions were awesome. Good bun, great sauce and the pizza crust has a gluten free option (pretty much everything had a gluten free option). Salads were awesome and a great value. Mac and cheese was ok, pretty much the same as the frozen version (looks good but lacks flavor). They offer some variations like broccoli and green onion toppings. The fries were the highlight. Awesome tasting potatoes. The vegan milkshake was light and delicious. Cane sugar sweetened soda from the fountain was really good also. If I could compare to veggie grill (another fast food concept), I'd say Amy's tasted more wholesome, was much more friendly on the wallet, but most of all, Amy's has soul while Veggie Grill is pretty corporate. The best part was seeing a line out the door at Amy's while In N Out (1 block away) seemed to have less traffic vs last week. Let's hope that trend continues.
