  • Hollerei = heaven!

This classy restaurant provided the perfect setting for a three course meal on a cold winter's night. The ambience is chic and fancy yet can be casual, so you can either dress casually or even dress up if you like. Avoid the complementary bread if you plan to have a three course meal (it was delicious but its way too filling). We started off with the mixed appetizer for starters, which included a large slice of vegetarian quiche as well as as 2 large samoosas (Indian pastry filled with spices, veg and potato), carpaccio comprising beetroot, orange, walnuts and mangold and then hummus with roasted vegetables and orange, all vegan. The tofu dumplings are also very good. These 2 dishes can be had as a main meal if you feel like a quick lunch with a glass of chardonnay. We had three amazing main meals - vegetarian lasagne with pea cream, vegetarian spinach gnocchi and vegan Thai red curry with sweet potato and tofu - all cooked to perfection! And lastly, an absolute delectable divine dessert - 2 thick large balls of gingerbread dark chocolate mousse topped with icing sugar and a sweet breadstick. If you would like to go for a fancy three course meal or if you would like to take a vegetarian/vegan lady out on a date, then this place is a winner!
