- Dried beans, bulk spices, and much more!!
I simply love this place, the owner is super kind and friendly every time I go. There is a really good variety of foreign foods here, even which would be hard to find in canada, like stuffed grape leaves and pickled lemons. They also carry bulk dates, bulk spices and really cheap dried legumes! I think a kilo of lentils is about 3-400 yen. The best part is the cheap brazilian cookies they carry. Some of them are vegan which is fantastic as it's almost impossible to find vegan cookies (let alone crackers) in Japan. Yes they do carry a lot of meat (in the freezers) but there is a ton of vegan food there too.
