  • Indeed the 'Besto'

Taking the bus in from the Phnom Penh Airport is cheap but tiring, especially after two flights to get there. Luckily, once we got into town, we went here to eat. The owner was incredibly nice, making suggestions when it became clear that we were overwhelmed by the options on the menu. The meal was great and afterwards I asked if he knew where we might be able to get cardamom as they don't have it where I live, I figured an Indian restaurant owner would know. He told me to come back in a few days. A few days later, there was still no cardamom but he told me to hold on, made a phone call and a guy came whizzing up on a motorcycle with a bag in hand. The point is, the owner really goes out of his way to help you out and the food is really good. It's worth the stop.
