- More than one kind of veg burgers!
Stopped in for lunch on my way to vegan fudge on Mackinac Island. Usual veggie wraps and such. You can substitute tofu for any of the meats. I first wanted the curried chicken but with tofu. The waitress said the non-vegan dressing was all mixed up with the rest of the ingredients so that couldn't be made vegan. :( Then I open the bar menu and discover FOUR different kinds of veggie burgers (pinto, black, cannellini and kidney beans) with different toppings. I ordered the Red Rock (kidney beans, beets, arugula - hold the goat cheese). It came out pretty quick. Very tasty whole wheat bun. The burger itself held together and I loved the taste of the beets with the kidney beans. I had vegan fudge on the brain so I didn't even ask if there were desserts - vegan or otherwise.
