Super Natural has moved to new premises at Grainger Street (see separate listing for Super Natural Kitchen) - there are plans for the original site. To be updated ** Original Review ** Great to see this place back on the Newcastle veggie scene. In the same location it used to be back in the late 70s (not that I remember it then of course!) until it closed in the mid 2000's. A massive refresh has seen a beautiful new interior with cosy yet traditional seating arrangements. They serve the usual selection of hot drinks, milk shakes and smoothies. On the food front you are looking at sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and veggie / vegan burgers all in the £3.50 price range. The usual British veggie fayre. You can also create your own salad from various hot and cold items such as jalapenos, sweetcorn, olives etc. Good vegan choice and a friendly atmosphere make this a good place to visit. Vegan cakes will also be available, it has been promised!!
