- Clearly labelled and nice food
Went here on a Facebook recommendation as I have only just realised they offer vegan food. We were greeted by a chilled counter with a selection of cakes by the door which was all clearly labelled (wheat, nuts, vegan etc)which was a good start. Also behind the counter there was a board giving the day's selection of vegan food (about 6 options) and the menu has a blue V indicating vegan dishes. Today there was the Ful Medamas, Veg and Hummus Panini, Veg Samosa, Veg soup and Jacket potato with beans. I had the Ful Medemas (which turned out to be a very tasty fava bean, lime and tahini stew with sesame bread) and my partner had the panini. The food took about 15 minutes to arrive, but looked freshly prepared and both had good flavour. There was about 4 vegan cakes and we had the fruit cake which was moist and very nice. About £15 for 2 light meals, 1 piece of cake and 2 teas - which I thought was very reasonable. Definitely worth the occasional visit.
