- Delicious, simple and great value
Kaffa is delicious, well-made Ethiopian food in a really friendly environment. Went for dinner on the way home from work and was greeted warmly and seated immediately. We ordered the large plate ($12) that included four different items including spicy red lentils, sautéed kale and onions, and mixed stewed vegetables and we added on one each of the day's samosas ($2 each). The samosas had a perfectly flaky exterior and well-seasoned fillings and the red lentils were so good we said we'd ask for a whole plate of them on our next visit. The location is a short walk from the Ashby BART station. Worth a visit!
