- Amazing vibe and (raw) food
Bhakti Café offers a wide variety of vegan food. Most of the vegan food is marked clearly on the menu, and I am sure that should you have any special wishes, the wonderful women running the café would try their best to satisfy you. They offer two different spaghetti plates, dhal, seitan, a vegan homemade burger and some Indian style starters, such as pakora. I had a salad. To be honest, this was the most satisfying salad I have ever head. Heaps of freshly prepared, raw vegetables in a huge bowl (finely cut beetroots, carrot, cucumber/lettuce/black olives/sunflower seeds/sprouts/sauted broccoli and potato/some kind of spicy pancake/mint infused olive oil). It was a LOT, and it was SO GOOD. (15 TL) For dessert, I had the vegan chocoklate cake, which was also delicious (7 TL). What I also like is that they serve not only black tea, but also organic herbal teas (the owner cooked a spicy cinnamon chai on my request), soy milk with carob. There is also some kind of smoothie, prepared with frozen berries, yoghurt and ice cream - probably there is also a vegan solution for that. Even though this café is not super central, it is definitely worth the visit!
