• All great except the plastic

Juice Queen has a great selection of juices & smoothies, and very friendly servers. It is very vegan-friendly, with almond milk available for smoothies, though there are a few non-vegan drinks on the menu (with honey). The only problem is that they serve the drinks in plastic bottles, even when not ordered for take-away. This came as a surprise, as there are nice tall glasses above the bar, so we don't know why they didn't use them. in addition to the disastrous environmental impact of plastic bottles (Samui has no truly eco-friendly way to deal with plastic), plastic is also bad for the health (due to toxins leaching from the plastic bottles into the juice), so it's surprising to find an otherwise health-conscious establishment using plastic bottles for dine-in orders. We suggest that anyone not ordering for take-away requests your drinks to be served in glasses, not plastic. Enjoy!
