  • Lovely place, just not vegan friendly

Decided to visit after finding on happy cow but was disappointed. There was only two vegan options, the dreaded falafel sandwich, or a halloumi and mushroom burger if you omit the halloumi which would make it £7.50 for a large flat mushroom in a bun. The soups weren't vegan, neither were the cakes. Also, there are loads of stuffed animals around the place, from where I sat I could see a fox, a deers head, a dunk and a pheasant and that's without trying to find them! The staff were very nice people and at least knew what vegans were. Also, the rest of the décor, ignoring the dead animals everywhere, was lovely, because of that and the fact that they at least have some vegan choices (if unimaginative) I've given it two stars but I really would tell vegans to avoid the place.
