This is the flagship for the performing arts in the Lakes so is obviously expensive (both the surroundings and the food). Always warm, clean and welcoming. Extremely accessible to the disabled (level access, braille signs, sign language interpreters available etc). The soup is always vegan and there are also several nibbles and, at present, a hoummous sandwich; not a great range and quite dear, but there are no vegetarian cafés left in Keswick now so it's better than nothing. You get quite an interesting salad too.) Theatre By The Lake are in the process of extending the building to make the café twice the size.
