- Good food. Unfriendly staff.
We were pleasantly surprised to see how good Poland was for vegan food. Unfortunately the friendliness of staff does not reflect the choice. Everywhere we went in Poland, we were met with the most unfriendly staff we've ever come across. Don't expect warm welcomes. This place, however, is slightly more friendly than the Mango Vegan on Zlota Street. This place was also bigger with more room for eating in, than the one on Zlota Street. This is definitely the better of the two Mango Vegan's that we ate in. However, it is more difficult to find it, but be patient. Although the food is the same in both places, this one is definitely a better place to eat in at. We never got to try the third place which, ironically, was nearer to where we stayed. Like Mango Vegan on Zlota Street, there is a decent selection on the menu. As we all preferred the Komoso 'cheese' burger the most on our visit to the Mango Vegan on Zlota Street, we all went for that again here. The burger itself is of average size, but the bun is well filled with extras - lettuce, onion, tomato, sauces, etc. It takes a big mouth to get your fangs around this bun burger. It is quite filling and the taste is nice. We also had a plate of four falafels on a plate of salad. Not the best, or worst, I've ever had, but they were a good size. Bigger than normal with a slightly above average taste. For a drink, we had a Hemp and Green smoothie. Both tasted nice but had a strange consistency to it. They didn't seem 'smoothed out' enough. Slightly below average I'd say. But at least they seemed very healthy. The cost was a fair price and the service quick. All in all, a good place to eat without having to worry if something is vegan or not. Unfortunately, it is almost all ruined by the lack of friendliness of staff.
