- Vegan options!
The Lions is an excellent country pub, nestled in a corner of the village, like a gateway to some great woodland walks. The chef is vegetarian and always has a separate vegetarian menu that always includes a couple of vegan options. I have had great soups, a lovely veggie chilli (with veggie mince) and most recently a really tasty vegetable pie, on wholemeal crust with roast potatoes, veg and gravy on a Sunday. I hope this become a permanent fixture!
