  • Great find!

The owners run this restaurant out of their back yard and are super friendly and welcoming! I only wrote down the address for this place before leaving and didn't really look on the map at where it was, so we were a little worried as we walked the dusty roads of a neighborhood that we'd never find it, so we were quite pleased when we found the welcome sign on the fence! We could tell looking in it was definitely the place because there were tables set up in the yard under the apple and cherry trees. We were a little hesitant to go in cause it just seemed a little strange to walk into someone's yard, but we are real glad we did! The lady running the place was so friendly. We got there at about 2 on a Friday afternoon and they had run out of most options, so we essentially got the leftovers, but what a fine meal it was! Savory pumpkin zucchini pie, brown rice and a salad with beet dressing, lettuce, shredded beets and carrots corn and peppers. It was a huge plate of food and at 50 pesos each it was a great deal! We wish we could have gone back. Highly recommend going! It just might be the best meal we've had on our trip!
