  • Old-fashioned vegetarian restaurant

I think this was the first vegetarian restaurant in Frankfurt, and it also feels a bit old-fashioned. It is a small place, but the menu is very vast. Unfortunately, the focus is clearly on “vegetarian” this means non-vegan dishes…What makes it worse, it is also quite confusing to identify the vegan dishes, as some are clearly labelled “vegan”, on other dishes is an addition “not vegan”, and most dishes are not labelled at all…. Yes, you can always ask, and staff is very friendly, but other vegetarian restaurants simply write “vegan” when it is vegan, and “can be made vegan” when you have to say that you want it to be vegan – it could be so simple…. However, the food is quite good and as a vegan you still have some choices. As far as I remember they don’t use mock meat. The location is very convenient, not far from the city centre and less than 100m from a large cinema complex.
