  • Good Food

This place is clean and offered authentic Vietnamese vegetarian food. I had the tomato tofu rice noodle soup. and it was very authentic and delicious.. I also ordered the Fried Wonton filled with cream cheese... I have someone speak Vietnamese to translate make sure it is not real cream cheese since i am a vegan, and after several talk, I was told everything is Vegan on the menu and no dairy or egg ingredients... WELL, It's NOT TRUE. so the wonton turned out to have real cream cheese filling.. and it was cold inside.. anyways, the manager, the monk lady took that off my bill, it was nice of her... the thing is, No one speak sh*t English in this restaurant.. so, please ask around for help to translate if you have any issues or question about the food. Bottom line, Food is really good. But not Vegan, but Vegetarian. and No English.. oh yeah.. also CASH ONLY!! And it's also a funny fact that there are 3 Vietnamese vegetarian restaurant on the same Garvey Ave... this one in my opinion rank #2. and Thien Tam #1... Food Yumminess both are all excellent but different... Veggie Life however, really couldn't keep up... the energy of the food they sell there made me want to throw up... Sorry, I think they could use some improvement..
