- Went twice but didn't get served
I went to the Brakes twice during a recent visit to Albany. The first time I arrived on Saturday evening at 8:15 to be told that the kitchen closed at 8 (the place closes at 9). Went back the following day on sunday at 3:15 to be told that the kitchen was about to close but i could still squeeze my order in. After a 30 min wait, i went to find out what was happening to be told that the stove was broken and the kitchen was closed! Can't review since I went twice but they wouldn't serve me. Make sure you call before you go, turn up at least an hour before they close and take a screwdriver just in case you need to fix the stove to get served.
