- Lots of delicious options for veg*ns!
While it's not a veg restaurant, this place is an oasis in a district full of meat and egg-heavy restaurants. Comfortable, clean, cheap and cheerful atmosphere with indifferent service. But the real attraction is the food, which is an interesting Yunnanese twist on mainstream Chinese dining. Stand-outs on the menu are: the hand-made noodles with chili (they don't look that great in the photo, but trust me, they're amazing); the tiger salad (delicious Asian version of a more familiar mediterranean salad); the cabbage with zingy Szechuan peppercorn; the vegetable dumplings (boiled, steamed and panfried are all good); the cold shredded potato and seaweed starters; the tofu with chili.
