- Good vegan food
I ate here several times in November, 2014. The meal of the day currently costs 10 soles, and you get a lot of food for the money. Just take a seat at one of the tables and they will usually ask "un almuerzo?"... just say "si" to get the meal of the day. You can also order things a la carte. Both times I went, they first brought a good mixed salad, then the drink and the main plate with 3 items. Then after you finish all that, they bring a bowl of soup and a small dessert. I thought the food was usually good, but the dessert was not (I would have just preferred a piece of fruit). Nevertheless, if you are a vegan, it's a place that's worth trying. To get there from Miraflores, just stand at the bus stop in front of the Saga Falabela department store and take any bus that says "Brazil" as one of the destinations. After about 10-15 mins, the bus will turn right on Ave. Brazil. Just look out the left side of the bus and get off when you see the Candy Supermarket (at Ave Javier Prado). When you exit the bus, cross Avenida Brazil and walk down Jr. Junin for a little over 5 blocks to the restaurant. The bus fare is 1 sol from Miraflores to the corner of Brazil and Javier Prado. Then reverse the instructions to get back to Miraflores. Or you can take a taxi for about 7 soles. Updated from previous review on Wednesday November 19, 2014
