  • good and nourishing but otherwise unremarkable.

Good news if you eat vegan - you'll get an OK meal. Like many chinese Buddhist places, particularly in Australia, the food is ok, but uninspired. Rice and a few choices from watery bainmaries. The lunch deal of $AUD10.80 (as at November 2012) includes complimentary Fu Guang tea, but other teas are poor value. This is a clean friendly place in the heart of a shopping area, a Buddhist shop selling books and trinkets, and also serving lunch. If you're vegan in Australia, you rejoice when you find a rare place you can eat. But it's not special.
