  • tasty food and tasty tea

unlike some of the other reviewers I didn't have much trouble finding the place, just follow happycow's instructions and keep an eye open for the green sign - and remember that in Korea shops and restaurants tend to occupy the upper floors of the buildings as well! this restaurant is actually at the top of the building (I think it was the fourth floor) and has a nice little rooftop garden with the cutest cats living there :) Dajeon Cafe has great food for reasonable prices (doesn't leave a student like me bankrupt) and the jujube tea, one of my favourite beverages in the world, is just amazing. So far I have tried the noodle soup dish, the mandu and the dolsot bibimbap and I can recommend all of it. With every dish comes a small selection of banchan; I especially enjoyed the fried tofu. All dishes and drinks are vegan except for the honey which is added to some of the teas, but the menu states clearly which teas contain honey and which don't.
