• Delectable Asian cuisine

It was our second time my husband and I to come to this restaurant. The first time was days after their opening and we had been disappointed by the food and had given up on this place. After reading the two very positive reviews, we decided to try it again tonight. It was a revelation, a totally different experience. The owner explained to us that soon after it had opened, some people they had hired to assist the chef were found to not be up to the task and were dismissed, so it was possibly the reason for our disappointment. So tonight the food we tried was all very good, fresh, crisp, and tasty. We had the "fresh vegetarian rolls", the Thaï soup with spicy tomato broth, the Singapore noodles with roast "pork", and the Asian Stars love nest with fried vermicelli noodles. Each dish tasted very different and all were delicious, some spicy (the soup for instance), not too much but enough to bring depth and complexity to the flavours. The vegetables were crisp cooked, very fresh, the bean sprouts irreproachable. The portions are humongous so one plate can help two people. We are extremely pleased to have decided to go back to this place again and will be back soon.
