- Disappointing
We visited Vegacity on a recent trip to Budapest and found it a little confusing – there are lots of different signs with dishes and information on but it is not immediately clear which of it you can order and we found a number of things that were on the boards were not actually available. Given the layout of the place (with a canteen style front that you move along while selecting your food with people with their trays behind you) it’s very easy to feel rushed while you are choosing, particularly as there were about 5 members of staff all staring at us as we walked down the line without doing much to try and help out. There were burgers in the cabinet which we ordered, but we didn’t realize that these were intended to be served cold – they did offer to microwave them but we opted to have them cold anyway, but did not really enjoy them. Our lack of Hungarian probably didn’t help, but I’m not sure what kind of place Vegacity is trying to market itself as and whatever it is it could do a better job of it.
