- Local bakery with local specialties
Was super surprised that this little bakery *of course* had vegan options (also the classic Leipziger Lerche) and offered soy milk with the coffee. The owner was also very passionate about localism and shared his experiences with the big chains (ie Lukas) in the area. He was also super friendly and let us sit there for a long while, even though they were about to close. They were almost sold out, so I'm not sure how they're other products are. They do have more vegan pastries and cakes though. (Sorry, not sure if they do have non-veg options?) Definitely worth supporting! Lerche was also yummy and so was the coffee - even if not made with a flash barista machine.
