- Not a Great Place for Vegetarians/Vegans
I went to this restaurant several times after it first opened, but each time they didn't have the vegan "chicken" available. Maybe it's gotten better, but my advice is to call first if that's what you want. I went a couple of more times after that (calling first) and the food was okay. But the final time that I went, I had an uneasy feeling that the vegan "butter" wasn't vegan. It was crowded and I had to get back to work so I didn't go up to the counter to check. But I haven't been back since. I guess if you really want vegan "chicken" and waffles, check them out, but I would recommended going to Golden Era instead (it's only a block away) if you want delicious food - and food you can be sure is 100% vegan.
