- Great deserts with reasonable coffee
I have been to Raw Trader several times and found the deserts to be excellent. Their raw cheesecakes (made with cashew cheese) are amazing, very tasty and with a variety of flavours. The slices are good too. It is also nice to have something that is not full of soy. However, if you don't like the taste of coconut oil, don't order a desert... they use coconut oil in everything! Coffee is fine and apparently their chai latte is good too! The place can be a little pokey and at around $10 for a desert, it is more of a treat than somewhere you would go daily. It would be good if there were some savoury or lunch options other than desert, but it's not surprising given that they advertise themselves as a specialty desert bar.
