- Organic superfarm!
DHL is situated in the heart of one of Germanys largest organic demeter farms. They even have scientists working on improving the wheat quality (in favor for the consumer ;-) ) With own first class bakery, Café, butchery, egg, milk and cheese production and a fully equipped supermarket. Try the beer! They are a little short on superfoods, but apart from that, you will get anything you want. The problem for vegans might be the Demeter-concept of the farm, which especially relies on cattle as essential part of the farming circle. The calves are separated from their mother cows and kept in those white plastic boxes in the yard, often watched and found cute by families.
