- Peruvian veg friendly food
This is one of the best meals we have had since arriving in Costa Rica. It is located in La Fortuna- google maps has it in the correct location. Our favorite dish was the Tofu Saltudo that included potato wedges tofu and tomatoes with a savory sauce. The tofu was amazing. We also loved the Kam Lu Wantan for 5000 colones. It consisted of three huge wontons stuffed with vegetables topped with a sweet and sour sauce. It wasn't vegan though as there were eggs in the dough. The other dish we tried was the Causa Vegetariano for 3800 colones. It was spicy cold mashed potatoes stuffed with vegetables. It was ok but I prefer my potatoes hot.
