- *ooook!* (Yummy!)
This is a converted corner shop in a really quiet street but close to a vibrant quarter of Hamburg. The decor is simple - stripped walls, lot's of daylight, it is relaxing and friendly. We tried both salads and the soup on offer - presumably these change often, it seems to be a one-woman shop and she's very nice too! Food portions are generous, the cold soup was perfect (not greasy, not watery, just subtle and refreshing), as it was so hot we had to option to eat it cold, which was the right decision. The salad portions are generous too, and all food comes with bread which is proper bread, tastes a bit of sourdough and requires chewing. We did not sample the hot drinks, but the place is so nice and the food so fresh and tasty, I'm sure we'll be back!
