• Amazing space, superb desserts, outstanding burger

The Volkano is my favourite restaurant in Heidelberg. I have eaten there numerous times and the food is fantastic every single time. The soups and salads are always fresh and seasonal and my personal highlight is the vegan mousse au chocolat. Best one you've ever tasted! There's a cute little restaurant space, an outside lounge and a biergarten. Surrounded by lots of green, it is ideal for family and to bring dogs. Best place to go in summer since it is cosy and quiet. The owners are some of the friendliest people and their dogs are adorable, too. They're even listed as team-members :) Pro tip: Very popular as a wedding location and for all sorts of festivities. PS: Can only give 4 cows since it's only veg-friendly but it deserves 10!
