• Not spicy enough for me!

We've been trying to like this restaurant as it's convenient and has good parking. The staff is very friendly and other than the old carpet (from the previous owner) the place is clean. Each time we go to the lunch buffet, I tell the owners the same thing: Nothing is spicy enough....it's like baby food! I remind them that there are dozens of authentic spicy/flavorful Indian restaurants all over the area. They said that they want to 'dumb it down' for the American palette. I told them that people who don't care for Indian cuisine, won't be coming and the other, want the REAL DEAL. They always suggest that I add hot sauce but it doesn't taste as good if the wonderful spices aren't added at the time they are cooked. The flavors are good, but everything on the menu is very bland. We did go once for dinner (no buffet then) and were able to order our food using the 1-5 star system for spiciness. Delicious.
