I Love this place, the food and the Atmosphere. If life didn't get in the way I would come daily for lunch, the only meal served to the public. The food is totally Vegan, healthy, wholesome, balanced, varied, very tasty and cheaper than what it would cost to make the food at home, 5 RMB (80 cents). Right from the striking of the Fish Gong and Chimes out front at just before 11:40 through the non talking meal to the cleaning and replacing of the bowls and chopsticks one used this was a delightful meal and experience. It is a shame more people don't know of this "Temple" as I find it more Artistic then the more crowded Wenshu Monastery 2 1/2 blocks away. Then again, maybe it is much better this way. Do yourself a favor and get here by 11:30 to have lunch and then enjoy the walk through the Wenshu area to the Monastery
